He means that nothing will come of this. This guy is obviously a tad bothered by your incessant calls to his place of work. So stop calling him there. It is inappropriate to take casual personal calls on a workplace phone, so you could potentially get him into trouble. Then he'd really avoid you.

Go back and read the previous comments before asking the same questions over and over again. At this point you need to leave him alone and move on because it is starting to look like you are stalking him. The window for you to contact him without looking weird has passed.
