i went snowboarding again yesterday.

very powdery it was. nice on some trails, some trails were too much powder. nice to fall on, hard to get up from.

i'm getting really good though. i'm actually having fun riding down the mountain. the view is beautiful now that i can look a lot farther than two feet in front of me.

almost went down the side of a cliff once though. just once.

i guess you can say i got the fever. donut boy was right, you have to be one with the board.

there are some beautiful places here. there's a reason why the natives considered parts of it sacred land. this place where we go backpacking is absolutely magical. there are just no words you have to be there to know it.

back from another day of snowboarding!!!

i did really good. i only had two really bad falls.

one time i caught the front edge and went down on my knees (for the millionth time.) the second time i was getting off this lift i've never used before and it basically ejected me. i landed on my face and it felt like my googles punched me right in both eyes. i was taking ice from the ground and putting it on my eyes lol. that freakin hurt!!!

but i did another run and it was perfect. i'm blazing down the mountain like a little avalanche.

this is the last weekend my mountains will be open. i'll have to travel to gigaville or further if i want to do anymore this year.
