    Senior-sophmore relationship

Hello, I am a male, and I'm a senior in high school. I want to know if it is OK to ask a sophmore out. Maybe even to prom. Is this too far-fetched, or is 2 years not that big of a deal? Any advice is deeply appreciated!!! =)

Yes, it's okay as long as you both understand that when you go to college, it's over. You're too young for an LDR.

It is ok to take a sophmore to a prom. During my years many people did.

I am currently dating a sophomore... and I am a senior. It's been two years, and it is really rough right now...

But I do disagree with what Gigabitch said about being too young for a LDR. It is a really general statement, and depends on the people.

I think it is fine to take a sophmore, and I agree with Giga about the long-distance thing. If you date this girl for a while, you should break it off when you go to college.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Too much drama and distraction involved.

Good point. But all relationships have drama and distraction.

Sorry 'Wing, but I think a college/highschool thing from what I've seen is very difficult to manage.

Especially if you and your girl don't figure your shit out soon.

This is how I feel about my own relationship, but I was speaking about all relationships people can have in college.

First of all, don't think that asking her to prom is the same as starting a relationship or something. My junior year prom date was my first kiss (after prom) but then we never saw each other again.

On the other hand, when my sister was a sophomore, she got asked to prom by a junior, and they went to three proms together and dated for 8 years and just got married
