    Please help asap?

My ex called and wanted to meet as friends, problem is shes with someone. I want her back but don't want to get hurt. Do you think I got more of a chance if i meet her as she would be reminded of good times we had or will i get hurt?
Why do you think she contacted me after so long, it's been a year?
    Thanks

Setting yourself up for disaster. She probably needs some ego massage and is going to use you to get it.

You have to move on, seeing her isn't going to help (if it's been a year, you really need to move on).

Don't go. Don't kid yourself that you can be friends... at least not yet. You're still completly hung up on her and all you'll end up doing is prolonging the time until you're over her. Essentially if you go, you'll start at square 1 again. Stay away until you're truely over her. If after that you still want to be just friends by all means.

To get out of it: just say you don't think it's a good idea for YOU, but thank her for the invite.

You should go. If you don't go you will be second guessing yourself about the decision of not going for probably a long time. Just don't go and think that you are going to get back together. Just go and try and just be her friend, that may be enough to get her back but don't expect it. Besides, most all good lasting relationships start as being just friends.

You can't be friends with your ex. She shouldn't even be trying to do this. You should tell her straight up you're not interested in being friends and that you want her back. Man up and say it.

I merged them. Messing with elle isn't the only thing I do, regardless of appearances.
