How can I comfort my girlfriend ?

It's raining at our house and were under a thunderstorm warning until 2:30 tomorrow morning and my girlfriend is scared to death of thunderstorms she always thinks there's gonna be a tornado. She's really scared and crying. What can I do to help her ?

Hold her. Comfort her. Be there for her. If she can logically think about this fear, bring up The Weather Channel on your computer and try to get her to understand when and where tornadoes normally occur and the sheer number of thunderstorms that occur that do not have tornadoes associated with it. But mostly, just be there and let her hold onto you.

B - Give her earplugs, so she won't hear the thunder.
C - Tell her to stop bitching grow up.
D - Knock her unconscious. Repeat as necessary until the storm is over.

She might need some sort of therapy. There's usually an underlying reason when people are way overly emotional.

Yes we understand. Tell her the Toothfairy will protect her but only if she falls asleep. The Toothfairy is shy and only appears when people are not awake. The Toothfairy will cast a magic spell over the house, a rainbow will appear and shield it from the storm. So the sooner she goes to bed, the sooner the Toothfairy will show up.
