I'm more about personality, but we all have to admit that looks do matter to some degree. Some guys look good with long hair and can pull it off, and some can't.

Sure, it's secondary to personality. But objectively, I'm not opposed to long hair if it's well-maintained. That said, if you've gotta straighten it every day to "maintain" it, get it cut and don't primp like a girl.

Some guys can get away with long hair. Personally I don't like it past the shoulders.
As for Fabio...he appeals to women 50+.

it depends, as long as it's well maintained, i am a hairdresser so i love having long healthy hair and if a guy has long hair i'm slightly put off if its straggly, greasy and frizzy. i personally prefer shorter hair on guys. i also like shaved heads on guys if they have thick eyebrows, boy do i love thick dark eyebrows

Long hair does not look good on guys unless its braided and its on african men (ohh...very sexy). And I think fabio is just nasty.

I love long hair on guys. My ex had jet black hair down to his stomach. It was really thick, too, like a horse's mane. Hot.
I like short hair, too. It really just depends on the guy. Some guys just look better with it short, especially ones with more feminine facial features.
