Stupidest or Smartest Take Back?

Hey,

I was talking to a friend about people we have taken back after a break up or a rejection. How many times have you taken back someone and it actually wasn't messed up? or how many times have you taken back someone who you thought was bad for you but then they ended up being good? What is yiour advice on taking people back?

LOL, I took back (or was taken back) by the same girl half a dozen times in HS. I eventually gave up entirely. Bad move on both our parts, but especially hers... I wasn't a good BF then. Or even 5 years ago, for that matter.

I haven't returned to my ex or take any ex back, only almost. No experient.

I usually never take back an ex. My only exception was my most recent ex and 3 years in to our relationship I didn't like how things were going and neither did she so we broke up mutually for 2 months. It wasn't be cause we didn't love each other or fighting or what not It was because we wanted to find ourselves. Next time we split was 4 years later. Now if you read the july nc contest I'm debating on taking her back yet again. Trying to figure out if our breakup over a misunderstanding would be actually worth the trouble.

Normally though all my other exe's its a no go.Its a break and done because the issues that were in the relationship were not worth fixing at all.
