I am lucky enough to have a nice man who is interested in me however he has poor grooming habits and I just can not look past them. How do I ask him to take better care of himself?

You say: PeeeYouuuuuu. You stink, my love. Go get out of those dirty clothes and get in the shower. There's a toothbrush and deodorant in the cupboard for you.

LOL @ Wakeup. I think she's correct though. Just tell him. If he gets offended then there could be something wrong. I know I go nuts when I don't feel clean, so I don't really understand the whole "let's not clean ourselves today gig."
I hate to say this, but there could also be something wrong mentally. I'm not being judgmental, but I also know that a lot of people with mental illnesses often do not take care of themselves. It could also just be how he was raised. One of my best friends was raised in a poor financial atmosphere and they simply couldn't afford hygienic necessities growing up, but now that they are in a better situation, cleaning themselves still comes last. But then it could also be a biological problem? Not sure, but yes, try to tell him as nicely as you can.
