My friend sometimes makes me think he likes me as more. He always seems happy to see me, and makes lots of eye contact. He tends to joke around with me a lot, and will generally look at me when we're in a group. He often asks my advice and confides in me about things. He tells me things he says he hasn't told anyone else. He regularly offers me lifts home when there are other people with cars too, and sometimes I feel like he's standing closer to me than other people do, or than he would with other people. Does he like me or are we just good friends? How can I tell (without asking him)?

I'll bet he likes you. should there be another possibility, it would be that he feels very lonely and likes to enjoy the familiarity and closeness he has with you as much as he can.

I'll bet some of your mutual friends know if he does or doesn't. Do you want him? Maybe you could mention it to one of your friends and see if that doesn't prompt him to make a move.
