    The Pill

Hi, my bf and I have decided to go on the pill, well he basically thought it would be a good idea. I'm not a big fan of the pill because of the side effects. Can you guys recommend any low dosage birth control pill that don't cause these horrendous side effects?

Don't you think this would be a better question for your doctor or pharmacist?

I`m on depo injections. Works good for me tho I know there is bunch of women for which it works bad. But if You`re generally too sensitive for medicines, it`s not for You. I`m ok with normal medicines, that`s why (maybe) it`s ok for me . Each body is different.
    I wazzzz here

Sometimes someone's actual experience with a product helps. Not knocking seeking advice from doctors and/or pharmacists.

I took Alesse for a number of years, but Vash is right you need to ASK your doc or pharmacist. Depending on the drug, some gals have more/less bleeding, some have mood issues, it really depends. There are lots of choices and a health professional (not to be found on an internet site like this) can help you choose wisely.

I was on Lutera which is generic for Alesse and it worked just fine. But I also gained fifteen pounds. I've been off of it for a few weeks and i lost the extra pounds just like that. That's probably the only problem I ever had with it...

however I know two people who got pregnant while on Levora so I'd probably skip on that brand

I'm on the depo shot as well, but that takes a serious toll on your bone density in comparison to the pill.

I tried several pills before I found the one that was right for me. Ortho Novum threw me on an emotional roller coaster. Triphasil turned out to be just right, and I was on that for years before switching to the shot.

This really is something you should talk to your doctor about.

The pill is awesome, but sometimes it decreases sex drive in women.
