    Open Water

    I just watched it.

About the 2 divers that get left behind stranded in the middle of the ocean.

I heard mixed things about it.

    But I must say.

It was one of the most horrifying movies I've seen in a long time.

I feel kinda sick just thinking about it...

I saw it! It was freakin' scary!! You can add deep sea diving to the list of things I don't care to try.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

What's scary is that I can empathize with the characters to an extent.

I almost drowned with my friend about 2 years ago.

I became so out of breath, my muscles just weren't gettin' enough oxygen, I couldn't stay above the water. I reached a point where I started to come to terms with the idea of drowning in a dark river my body only to be found by at least the next morning.

I was so terrified that Will might've drowned.

He tried to swim back, I told him not to, you should never seperate, but he panicked. I couldn't see him any longer and I just kept hearin' "HELP!".

I've never felt such a degree of hopelessness but in some of my worst dreams.

yeah i've heard mixed this about this movie. reason that i never got around to it, so there are a couple of people stuck in the middle of the ocean. i knew there were gonna be some frightening portions, but i didn' think that it would fill 2 hours. so this is a good movie you say?? i'll look for it when it comes out on hbo. i doubt that it's something that i would rent or buy.

It's not a bloodbath, slasher kind of movie, Illusional. It is a psychological thriller. My kid didn't like it because he was hoping for a more direct hit of blood and guts. (ADD generation, you know.)

We decided it would be cool to infiltrate a boy scout camp that happens to rest on an island in the middle of the Delaware river.

One of our friends happen to still be in scouts at the time, figured we'd pay him a visit.

Everything was goin' fine till the rope became useless to us.

We were all fully clothed and try to swim across, but because of the rains 2 days before the river was 10 ft higher than usual and moving a shit load faster.

    Yes.

Of course it was a bad idea. We all agreed that what we were doing was an extremely stupid idea.

Just like when I picked up the snake that latched onto my finger.

I said to Will: "Just for the record I am completely aware of the fact that picking up this snake (OW!) was a really really stupid idea. But I still wanna get a picture of it so let's hurry back to the house. By the way, do you know what to do in case I go into shock? Well the first thing..."
