I saw this post on another forum and thought it was too great to not pass along:

Okay, let's say you have a lover (18+) who has Multiple Personality Disorder. One of the personalities that emerges, is a fifteen year old boy or girl. Is it wrong to sleep with that person?

What if there is a 30 year old person who has two personalities who share all the time right down the middle (15 years each). They have existed for 30 years technically...but it is argueable that they are each only 15 years old. Is that wrong?

What if an actual fifteen year-old has multiple personalities, one of which is eighteen plus?

What if your girlfriend has a guy personality? Would that make you gay?

Would it be considered a threesome?

What if one of your lover's personalities did not know you? Would sleeping with him or her be considered rape?

If one personality found out you were sleeping with another personality, would they be jealous? Would it be considered cheating?

thats incredibly vague. Anyone who is mentally ill? Even someone with ADD?



I think people all agree that you shouldnt take advantage of someone who doesnt have an adult capacity to reason.

Hence why some people who are mentally ill, drunk people, minors, and people otherwise incapacitated are off limits.

So now can someone answer these questions. As i dont think that all (if any) of the questions above are dealing with people who dont have the capacity for adult reason.

You must be kidding. Assuming that both exist, I don't think there is a person on the planet who would put ADD in the same category as a person multiple personality disorder.

By the way, I said "*that* mentally ill" because I understand that there is a range to personality disorders. MPD is WAY out there on the scale.

Dissociative Identity Disorder (or multiple personality disorder) isn't exactly common nor is it natural. It's a disorder that derives from having a therapist **** with your head until you believe you actually have multiple personalities. There are like 150 reported cases a year in the U.S. Not exactly an issue any of us will have to deal with.

I say it's wrong to sleep with anyone who doesn't have the mental capacity of an adult. Which means all retards, alzheimers patients, and such are off limits.
