So, let's see...Met a woman through an online dating service. Finally, we meet after a week of emailing. We meet for coffee. Very nice. Very smart. I'd like to date her, but I'm not going ape-shit-crazy over her. Coffee went for an hour and a half (is that good or should in terms of length). Topics were fact-based issues about family, friends, work, basic interests. Avoided opinion-related stuff.
I gave her my contact info and said, "Send me an email if you'd like together again." Its difficult to figure out what else to say after just meeting someone.
She did bring a small gift to me--some homemade pastry and very good.
So, my thought is to email and thank her for the pastry as a "follow up" to show some interest; but...and here's the question: do I email tomorrow or do I wait or what? I forget about all of the "timing" issues of dating and need reminding.
Thanks,
CAM
