When do you know when you arent on the rebound?

Im just curious, when would one know that they arent on the rebound?

I like this girl, but I know I am on the rebound from my last relationship.
Ive liked her before, but I am unsure of if she likes me, but thats beside the point for now.
Im just curious since I am inexperenced in the ways of our silly little minds, when are you not on the rebound anymore?

You aren't on the rebound when you can be non-emotional and objective about your ex.. If you hate her, you aren't ready. If you want revenge, you aren't ready. If you still care about her enough to be grieving, you aren't ready.
