2nd day on job with hubby

Not so bad. Im actually enjoying it. Its not the bad perception I had initially. I really like everyone in the office. Especially my partner! He makes it so easy, at least for right now. I shadowed him yesterday and today I was able delve into a case and DO something. That was freakin cool. I like the whole not worrying about punching in and out, and we leave when we want to in the morning, go to lunch when we want and leave when we want. Its not regimated like I thought it would be either. Very laid back. My office is so damn huge.

I think Im really going to like this afterall! I feel like Melanie Griffiths in Working Girl!

    I like your work hours!
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

we drive to work together. Our offices are seperate and when I need to communicate with him I phone him or email him. We have lunch together too. But Im having lunch with the girls with my old office today, and Chris said just to take the afternoon off afterwards! OKAY!! And we dont go in til after 9am, within 2 and halfhours were at lunch, and typically a little after 4 were gone. We'll be leaving early on Fridays. And the office is closed on like EVERY HOLIDAY!

I'm sure it will have it's drawbacks, just like any job, but I'm glad it's starting out nicely and I'm glad you'll get to see Chris more often.

I think you're bloody brave to work in the same office as your husband.

I do know of one couple that does this. They deliberately *don't* take lunch together, just something to remember if it gets to be too much.

Congrats on the new job, tho & all the best.

giga... one of the drawbacks that i'm going to guess is that nothing ever gets done around here.
