What did you do during your summer vacation? If you don't get a summer vacation, then what about your last vacation?

I am leaving tomorrow for a family reunion in Oregon and a little white water trip in Northern California.

i'm going to seattle for a winter vacation....

as far as my last vacation, i was in japan during christmas time. damn it was beautiful.

I could use a damn vacation. Maybe a 5 day Cruise to the Cayman Islands and Jamaica...or somewhere with less tornados.

I'm going to Montreal at the end of the month, this will be a vacation to remember.

My summer vacation is still lasting. Worked half the summer. Its been rainy summer, so not much to do. But oh well, there wouldn't be much to do with sunny weather also, so rainy is cool. Recent rainy days I've been doing stuff on my computer. But vacation will be over in a month. Then school will start and lots of new girls are there.

Worked and saved up my money for my trip to Germany in Spring.

I'm going on a halfway-across-Canada trip with my bf. We're driving from BC to Alberta to see my sister, then onto Saskatchewan (where we'll spend most of our time....that's where my bf is from), and then I'm going to Manitoba for a few days. I have a friend who just moved to Winnipeg.

It's a lot of driving.

I haven't done anything in terms of vacationing this year. I haven't even taken holidays off! Strangely, I'm not in dire need..i seem to love my job so much I don't even notice anything in terms of a need to relax or get away from this jungle. I think it has to do with the fact that at work there's a bunch of people I like to go around and chit-chat with, so it keeps the stress level low at work. I DID have the intention of going to Cuba this year and I would have gone, but now that I've got a girlfriend in the equation I am not as free as I used to be to make plans and easily follow them. I've got her limitations to consider.

So this year I'll probably head down to Guanajuato City, Guanajuato for an international cultural festival we have in Mexico every year called "Festival Cervantino". It happens in October.

I'll try to do Cuba next year.

I'm going to Puerto Rico in 2 days, but it's a business trip. We'll be staying at a spa though, so even though it's for work, it will be fun.

I really need a real vacation though. This last week I've been working 14 hour days. Some places I'd love to go: Japan, Thailand, Austrailia, Costa Rica...anyplace where I can see monkeys!

I love monkeys! My friend went to Costa Rica. She said that one morning she woke up to some banging outside her hotel room. She thought it was some construction going on, and when she looked outside she said it was a baby monkey trying to open a coconut.

Monkeys are f-ckers. In Bali I saw some monkeys in a forest attack these Japanese tourists. A group of women. The ripped their handbags down and scattered the contents all over the ground and then picked up a whole lot of stuff and ran off with it. It was highly amusing. In Malaysia I saw a big fat belgian get set upon by a whole family of the little devils.
