Girls do you ever feel like a guy?

Seriously I’ve had this a lot…..i just got a guy lodger to move in and he’s fantastic! He cooks and fixes things, he offers me food all the time and since he’s moved in he’s brought tea-towels, sharp knives for cooking (cooking what’s that?!) and lit up the house with light…I am very lazy when it comes to fixing bulbs…I pretty much go into darkness slowly over a couple of months until I cant actually see anything then I buy some bulbs. Anyway he’s been in the house one week and has laughed at me saying I’m like a guy, (I’m thinking maybe he’s a bit girlie, cooking, ironing? Ive never heard of a guy ironing? j/k) my brother used to tell me this and even my ex told me he was my b*tch (of course he had more subtle ways of getting what he wanted) he used to try to make me jealous…of course I didn’t give two hoots….i think that drove him a little crazy….ok so many’s the time I fall asleep on the couch and wake the next morning….what’s the BIG deal?

I'm all woman...i know that for sure

What do you think….do you ever feel like a guy?

Actually I do know exactly what you mean. I find myself really hating to do female things around the house whereas some past boyfriends actually enjoy housework.

Did you at least help him with the cooking?
As for the couch thing, it's very awkward for
women to do that, since they like being cozy.

Yeah, I thought I'd sleep in the room I'm renting separate from my girlfriend's.

But I sleep in her room all the time, regardless of sex.

Then again, my bed is nothing more than a cot that keeps me sore in the morning.

    I enjoy sleeping by her.

However, I do have all of my belongings in my own room, including all my copper.

EDIT: I don't like women who are pampered, and hate the guys who pamper them even more. In fact, further down the line, I believe the male would begin to resent the woman he was trying to woo because she'll take for granted that he likes to take out her bathroom trash.

I don't know how she puts up with all that copper just laying around.
    I don't chase, I replace.

And it's the guys that do all that pampering that always seem to get taken for a ride and then dumped in the end. And then come on here and moan about what a nice guy they are and how they're just looking for a woman to appreciate them. Pussies.

My girlfriend just came in here and asked me to open up a jar of salsa.

And I said: "Why, 'cause you're a girl?"

She took the jar out of my hand, gave me an angry look, and opened it herself.

    That's my kind of girl.

I think it's a bit extreme to have half of a house yours and the other your partners, not to mention selfish and noncommittal. You've moved in together as PARTNERS. Sure you need your own space every once in a while, but there is no long term cohesion in such living arrangements.

And I've never felt like a guy ... I'm around enough guys to feel very womanly. I do the housework, washing, I also open my own jars, fix my own electrical equipment and change lightbulbs. There's no female work or male work, it's just things to get done.
