Guy who appears suddenly around me all the time

So I like a guy and lately I seem to be finding him popping up around me unexpectedly! We are both a bit shy i think..sometimes he will hover around me until i say hi and only than will he relax and start teasing me and making conversation....later that night when i was cleaning up he apperared next to me to help me bring some plates into the kitchen. Another time i was walking home from a group outing with friends when all of a sudden he came out of nowhere and ran over to join us . ? I am shy so usually wait for the guy to say something before i do. Are these signs that maybe he likes me too?What do u think?
