Also, if I call for the date on Wednesday, and she is busy, if she has interest she would try to find another time. That is how I look at it. I'd know if she had interest or not still.

Not necessarily. If she says that she's busy on that day she might still expect you to suggest something else.

As I said earlier, I'd call her on the phone and talk to her for a few and then see about hanging out with her on Friday and then no talking Tuesday or Wednesday and then calling to confirm on Thursday.

I never understood this infatuation with texting. To me, texting is something that you do when you don't have time to talk. If you're texting each other like you would on messenger then you might as well call her.

Texting is a little too casual at the onset IMO.

Listen to Carl, Cain, and The Greek but don't feel like you have to do things any particular way, you should find what works for you. Trying to immitate Straus or Durden will make you just that, an imitator. The reason those guys' game works so well for them is because its their game, and they have tried many techniques rejecting some and using others.

And one more bit of advice. Stop saying stuff like "I hope I get the first date" and "hopefully I'll get her number" She may look cute but do you really know her? You mentioned that you talk a little bit in between your soccer practice with her.

Use the first phone call as an oppurtunity to screen her out. You may save yourself the time of waisting your time on a girl who doesn't measure up to your standards.
