Friend of girl i like, dilemma. Help!

Hi, this may get confusing but i'll try and keep it simple. I work in a shopping mall. A few months ago two girls came into the shop i work in. I instantly felt attracted to one of them but i did not act on this and have been regretting it since. I have seen the girl i like about the mall but once in a blue moon and i'm always in work so i cant exactly run out of the shop and go and talk to her. On the other hand her friend that came into my shop with her is always in the mall. The friend comes into my store alot also. So my question is should i become friends with this girl so that i can then have a link to the girl i like or should i just wait until i see the girl i like once again? Thanks

No, I'd advise you to stay well away from her friend. If her friend is attracted to you, it could completely blow your chances with the girl you actually want.
