The Difference a Man can Make!

So I believe I have mentioned that my ex-boyfriend is an alcoholic and for a long time I tried to be friends with him. Well pre-Peter, if my ex was too drunk to drive it was common that I would give him a ride or at times he would appear on my door step and I would let him crash.

Well last night he called - he loves me and wants to marry me, will I come pick him up. NOPE. I turned off the ringer. He called EIGHT times. the messages went from loving to freakin mean!

All I could think was that Peter would be so hurt if this man was at my house, likewise if the situation was reversed I wouldn't want some skanky ex hanging out at his house.

Funny the difference that having Peter in my life makes, a few months ago I wouldn't have thought about it, but now I put my foot down. I'm kind of proud in a weird way. Just had to share.
