Girlfriend just broke up with me, very confused.

I could tell it was coming, i am 16 and about to start college and she is too she said that we will not get time to see each other and it would be best if we broke up... if she really did like me or love me she would of tried to make it work and what elase is she broke up with me oveer msn, didnt even get to break up face to face and she still wants to be friends. I will find it hard to even look at her next time i see her than be friends. i twas totally unexpected it felt like satan him self had ripped out my heart spat on it and blew it open with a shotgun.... at the moment i am happy but in a phycoctic killing machine way...

Most of us here have been on the receiving end of that. You'll be allright man. It doesn't look like it now, but you will be.

Breaking up over MSN doesn't say much at all about her though. That's very childish and a very poor way to do it.

Just stick it through. You don't have to date again tomorrow, or love life next week, but one day down the road a bit (days, weeks, months, different for every person) that there ARE other fish in the sea and some of them look like pretty good catches. Then you'll be back in the game.

Relax man, you're only 16. It's natural to feel like the worst piece of crap after a g/f dumps you, and on msn too (wow...). But like Alexi said, you'd get over it. Go concentrate on college now and involve yourself in other activities you find interesting.

Stay focused on what you need to do and what you want to do. And really, someone who would break up with you over the internet, and not face to face, is a coward in my opinion, and does not deserve the time of day. My advice is to avoid her like the plague, don't call her, don't pick up if she calls, just ignore her and get on with your life. You'll be ok.

I agree with you LifeStyles. If you want to break up with someone, for heaven's sake go up to the person and tell him in the face! Bah... my crush rejected me through her friends, she didn't even tell me in person. It's even worse than through the Internet I think...
