need to have a crush?

It seems like I always need to have some girl to have a crush on. as far back as middle school, there's always been a girl I've been fond of, whether it was a classmate or co-worker or whatever. Those times between crushes I'd usually have a certain celebrity that I'd be obsessed with, trying to find out whatever I could about them online. Latest example, some of you might remember I had posted about a classmate from last semester I liked, the semester ended and I finally lost the crush. Between semesters I found a new celeb to like, that lasted a week or two, and now there's a new girl in one of my classes now I'm starting to like. My main problem is being too chicken to make a move, a streak I'm trying to break with this current classmate, so these crushes usually end up lasting a while because I never move forward or get rejected, which I assume would end the crush. Anyone else go through this? Or am I just lonely lol.
