I am hurting the person I love.

I am involved in an 18 month relationship where both my partner and I love each other very much. I have no other wish than to make her happy, but I always end up making her upset. I am not talking about usual relationship bickering, I think I sometimes unintentionally make her depressed. I can tell that occasionally I can make her happy, but she always ends up being miserable. She tells me that she loves me, and I believe her, but I can’t stand how I am hurting her. I am afraid I am slowly killing the person I love. What should I do?

I have been doing the same all my life, hurting the ones I love. A person on here pointed it out to me and now I am getting help in hte form of counselling. I lost my family whom I love more than anything in the world. Please speak to someone before you loose her. If you know you are hurting her you CAN do something about it. Talk to her and explain that you don't like doing it and that you want to sort it out. Maybe counselling will help?????
