How should I play this

I've known this girl for a few months, but we never were close and we've always been flirty friends and never talk that much. To make a long story short, we didn't talk for a few weeks. I missed her so I texted her Sunday night and said I miss you and we texted all night and then she texted me first in the morning and then the whole day at school we were walking together etc. She liked another guy like a month back and he didn't like her back I believe. Anyway I think he started talking to her again because she totally changed Tuesday and the rest of the week. Then suddenly, Friday she sees me at the end of the day and walks me somewhere, then I tell her I have to get on my bus and she says shed walk me there. Anyway we ran out of things to talk about so I gave her a hug and I left. She's honestly making me go crazy and I really really like her, but I don't know what to do. Should I text her tonight and ask her to chill tomorrow, should I not and wait for her to contact me? Thank you guys.

Since she is single, she is available to anyone......if you don't make a damn move to ask her out on a date right NOW, then someone else will and you fail.

Looks like the other dude may be competition just because it seems like this happens with everybody. There's always another guy who may or may not be "better" meaning she may want him more. But would you rather let him get her and you wonder "what if?" I wouldn't so just ask her out, you don't have to make it a romantic date. Ask her to grab food, watch a movie, go see a movie, who cares just take her out and be a gentleman and don't let that other dude get her first!

you have to go for it but dont be too aggressive with her just ask her out to something casual you know not quite a date but someplace where its just the two of you hanging out.
