Actually, I'd probably prefer a girl with a crappier car, because at least in my age range an expensive one would indicate that her parents bought it for her, which would potentially mean that she is spoiled and/or accustomed to a lifestyle beyond her financial means.

Been hanging out with two girls who unfortunately fell into that pothole - looked gorgeous, nice surface personalities, but some underlying vices and both had zero passion, simply looked for money to support their desired lifestyle without putting in any real effort.
They're both are aiming to be real estate agents. Go figure. -_-

I would ride both with no trouble at all.

AGREED! I know it's definitely not always the case, but I always assume when I see highschoolers with nice cars that they're spoiled and get handed everything. I would not be able to date someone with no work ethic.

People drive SUVS for a lot of reasons a small sedan cannot provide. For example i'm petite and driving an SUV allows me much better views of the road hence preventing future accidents. And also where i live, winters can be pretty nasty and an SUV drives much better in snow and ice than a little car with chains.

I have been living and driving a car in Minnesota for nearly 20 years now. This last winter was so bad that there were two days when I couldn't drive because the snow was too deep and the plows hadn't come through yet. In a typical winter, there might be one day that bad. Like half the people in this state, I live in the Twin Cities. An SUV would be better for those very rare heavy snow days. But ice is more common, and a top-heavy SUV is actually more dangerous on ice than a car. More likely to flip over. I always laugh when I see an SUV stuck in the ditch. Don't believe everything you see in the commercials.

SUVs are driven by selfish dickheads who don't 'give a shite for this planet.
