Im on the fence about it. i deleted it once was gone for a year and came back. what i dont like is you can delete it, but if you log back in years later it all comes right back.

i find my self using it less and less, i check my email if i see somthing posted somthing ill look, if not i dont hardly look volentarly anymore. too much hassel.

you can delete the account, deactivation is different.. that is just temporary...

I don't like it either but find it hard to express why.
Sometimes people put stuff on it that makes you feel bad. An ex that got with someone else, jealousy because of some pictures. It could be just me, don't know.
And even though you don't want to you can lose yourself in checking it out because you want to know.
This guy is getting married, that guy is getting a son. That one got a degree.. Makes me realize what I haven't achieved at this point

one of the (many) things i dislike about facebook is peoples annoying fake personas. people "like" things that make them appear to be profound or interesting. or they post quotes that in real life they do not live by or even try to. i will never get those minutes back that i spent looking at that bullcrap.

That's like saying guns kill people, or better yet, that pencils are the reason for misspelling. People ruin their own relationships, display their own fake happiness, and they divide themselves. Facebook is just a tool that they use for all this. In that case, it's not innovative at all - people have displayed this kind of behavior for centuries.

I'll probably always have my account open... I just don't deal with bullshit. I don't play the stupid games or use any of the stupid apps on there, and if anyone pulls any funny business, I defriend them. Simple as that; I've never had this much of a problem with it.

What I do have a problem with is my brother's crack whore girlfriend posting pictures of him naked on Facebook. That is freakin' gross, man. I don't wanna see my bro's pubes! But at the same time, it's not Facebook's fault. I just report them and cross my fingers that her account is banned.

I like Facebook, but I think a lot of young people abuse it by posting things that are too private for public viewing. Still, I like being able to see friend's photos, and kind of keep up with their lives.
