How long do you wait to call?

Provided you liked the girl or at least thought she was cute, and she gave you her phone number (you didn't ask for it though), how long do you normally wait to call? After how long should I write it off as him not interested? It's been only 2 days but I'm kind of freaking out lol. I didn't ask him if he had a girlfriend, and for all I know he does or is married, and honestly that's the only reason I think he would not call me because all the other signs pointed to him being interested.

The rule is two days. One day or less looks desperate, and three days or longer is too casual. But I personally don't always play by the rules.

Yeah he definately doesn't seem like the type to play games, he's older and more mature. But you never know.
