Well I met this guy at my friend's church and the three of us had a brief conversation (however he didn't actually ask anything about us). He is quiet and is apparently not that sociable. I really liked him, then he added me on facebook (which my friend was surprised about cos she had to add him). I typed hi on facebook chat, with no reply.
From his facebook I can see he's into similar things to me. I don't know whether to even bother trying to talk to him again as I don't want to embarrass myself if he ignore me again! The thing is, I live away from home so I only visit that church occasionally. But I'd like to get to know him and see what happens. I always go for shy ones and then they hardly talk! What do you reckon? If I should say hi again, I need to think of something to say!

Don't rely on facebook as a means of communication. Send him a message and ask for his number so you can talk to him.

Why not? You DO want to make it obvious you like him, thats the only way you're going to have him. Being all "coy" doesn't work, send him a message.

But he might be put off by my forward-ness. Don't guys like to chase the girl who plays hard-to-get so they feel an achievement when they get them? I'm 23.
