I don't understand her, but I love her

Hi ladies, I need some female advice help desperately. I'm completely head over heels in love with a friend of mine. She's the most amazing person I've ever met. She's so sweet and funny. I totally love her. I think she might know that I like her but not the full extent of my feelings. I can’t read her at all, she’s impossible to figure. If I tell her she might freak out and our friendship will be over which would be terrible But I can’t go on pretending I only like her in a platonic way. Should I tell her?
I need some advice on this cause it's messing me up big time. I can’t eat or sleep; she's all I think of. I love her

I think you should tell her, but definitely avoid coming on too strong. She may have no idea at all, or she may have feelings for you she's not thought of sharing because she doesn't think you're really interested enough to express yourself. There was a guy I liked for many years, who I knew liked me. But he never expressed it or made a move, and so I rationalised and made myself think it was all in my head. Have the guts to say so - but don't scare her off. Be casual, ask her to dinner and tell her you wonder if there's something between you, that you have some feelings for her - don't go too much further into for how long or the extent of them. Wait for her response - if it's negative, you haven't made her feel too awkward by spilling your guts. If it's positive, you can take it nice and slow as you should do. Good luck
