she doesnt want to get divorced

Hi everyone, we have been in a relationship for 18 months now, we were separated when we met each other. We have talked about getting married and we both like the idea but she has been separated 3 years now and just recently I found out that she doesnt want to get divorced. She has 2 kids 25 and 21 years. I am puzzled by this. Im a little hurt by this as well. Can anybody help me with this?

Who knows about her reasons. Your not giving much info. Find someone who's not married and doesn't want to get divorced....

I know people who are separated a long time and never got a divorce. It can be emotionally draining and stressful. The only advice I can give is to talk to her, ask all your questions and get them answered.

I do find it emotionally draining. I have asked her why she doesnt want to get divorced and she just keeps saying she doesnt know. I asked her if her husband wants a divorce and she said no he doesnt and I think she doesnt want to upset him but it upsets me. Should it?
Also she doesnt want to sell her family home because her husband asked if he could live in it till he dies then she can have it and she said yes to him. How do you good people see this? I mean she is entitled to do whatever takes her fancy but it seems like she is still emotionally attached in some way to him. Please tell me what you think.
