What is his problem with me ? HELP (shy guys)

Hey everyone !

Sorry this is a bit long...

So I've been liking this guy for a year now. He definitely knows I like him as well, because we had been texting for over 8 months, but we've never talked in person.. (even though we were in the same school, I know ridiculous right, but I was way too shy and intimidated to go up to him..) And it's been about 4 months that we haven't been talking at all, because I left for an internship in another country, and I kind of tried to forget about him because no one is ever going to do the first step. But now I'm back and I was hoping to make things move a little !

BUT the thing is, is I've never known what his real feelings for me were.. He told me multiple times that he found me attractive and stuff but never asked me out or said hi to me at school, he would just stare from afar and sometimes he smiled, and his friends would all look at me, or point at me, and then talk, and laugh.
My friends say he's shy, but he really isn't, he's got loads of friends that are girls, he very outgoing and friendly to everyone, but when it comes to me, he doesn't say A WORD to me.

2 days ago I was at the club, he was there, and at first he was being a complete a**hole, totally ignoring me, trying to make me jealous by talking about other girls in front of me, and hugging them, but when he saw that I was not really paying attention he stopped.
Then he was "accidentally" like bumping/pushing into me, and glancing at me when I was far away.
After, the club was about to close and me and my friend had no ride to get home, so my friend who is good friends with him asked him if he could bring us back he said yes. And on the ride home, I put my hand on the edge of the car and he moved his closer to mine, and touched it (I know this wasn't in my head, and not being paranoid, he really did move it on purpose to touch mine), this guy is really a mind f***, he acts like he doesn't care, but I really feel like he does, but I'm asking myself all these questions : If he did actually care, maybe he would send me a text or actually talk to me like a normal human being, but then I tell myself that even if I'm head over heels for him I'm not doing anything either SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO !

What the heck is wrong with him, is he just shy, or does he not like me ? What should I do, should I talk to him or not ? Should I just forget him ?

Oh my gosh. Okay, he obviously does like you. If a guy does what you mentioned then he's into you, no matter what else he does. Like you said, you haven't talked to him or acted normally around him either, so it's pretty safe to assume that he hasn't done so for the same reasons as you - just being too shy. He obviously doesn't have any kind of severe social anxiety though so I think, while he should have talked to you in person a long time ago, if you want something to happen you have to just go over and say hi at school.

He does like you and a lot! but boys like it if girls make the first move. Try and become friendly with some of his friends and try and join his social group more then you will be around him more to be able to speak to him!

I'm sure he likes you I have done what he does to you with a girl. Even though he talks to outher gilrs guys are really shy around the girl they like. Guys like when girls make the first move if you really like him just go to him and say hi the rest will follow
