Want to be loved/shown affection

Hi, there's girls I've liked for periods of time and have moved on from them as I've been led on in the past etc.

But I just feel like I want to be close with a girl who can be affectionate and caring towards me, and someone I can be affectionate and caring towards too.

I just think about cuddling up and falling asleep with a girl which is really appealing. Like I think most girls dont think guys like cuddling but I think quite a few do. I dont want anything sexual at the moment as I'm only 16, I just want someone to be close with as everynight and sometimes in the day, I just think about how nice it would be to be with someone or to have a special close relationship with someone. I get jealous of relationships I see in movies, and just want to be loved and be able to give love to a girl.

I like going out partying etc, but at times think that I would prefer to just be with a nice girl and spend the night in together.

Any advice??? and what are peoples opinions on this???

Most guys at 16 have raging hormones so to discover one like you who desires the closeness but not necessarily sex is refreshing. You are not alone in your feelings. Almost everyone has a need to be emotionally connected with someone - to feel loved and to be in love. But don't be in a rush - you'll find someone - and don't be jealous of what you see in the movies. The movies don't depict reality.
