co-worker mentioned a date to my girlfriend

today me and my girlfriend were at work leaving and she said hi to her co-worker. she mentioned that he had facebook messaged her asking if she saw the schedule. she said she did, and he said "well we work together saturday, we got a date"

i looked at her and said "oh really? wy would he say that" she said " don't worry about it, he's a weird guy"

shes never talked about him in front of me before and i have never seen anything between them but i wasn't to happy about what he said

should i just forget it or keep an eye out?

I wouldnt make a HUGE deal of it, but do keep it in your mental Rolodex, you dont have anything to stand on so its best to avoid making a problem of it at the cost of looking like an over-jealous jerk. The fact that she told you just means she may be trying to evoke some jealous feelings out of you, best not to take the bait.

In this context "we got a date" would be the same as "sounds like a plan" or "got it booked in" or any other number of expressions to say that it's gonna happen.
