second interview/trial :)

Hey all. I had an interview yesterday for a store manager job in a computer store. They called me back and ive been shortlisted (down to the last 3) and have a 2hour trial tomorrow.

I dont know what to expect and im not even sure if I want the job or not yet until I get a feel of the place and suss it out. Honestly they seem great, its a busy store, they are expanding, they came across as highly professional and they are offering similar money to my last job. Should I tell them straight I expect the same as I was getting previously in a similar role (which is at the higher end of what they are offering but within their limit )

And it said on the advertisement monday-saturday 40 hours.. I dont want to work 6days per week again. I did that for 3years and had no life. Should I ask them is it 5 or 6 days and tell them I want the job but im not willing to do 6days every week.. that I want my 40 hours spread over 5days and ill do overtime if needed..

I want this job but on my terms. My fear though is ill miss out on a good opportunity if im too forward about my expectations.

Also I dont have a clue what to expect tomorrow. Any tips/advice

I don't know how it is in Ireland but in the US, one typically does not discuss money and scheduling preferences during the interview... Not until the job is offered to you anyway. And even then, it's not guaranteed to you will get your request.

Yeah, I would definitely wait until they offer you the job to make any requests. Even then, I would let them decide about the money, and only ask about the scheduling if it's really important. Good luck !
