i would think so in some cases, anything is possible as long as both people involved are wanting the same thing. if only one wants a real relationship and the other is happy with no ties, no commitment and just likes to ****, then no because you have totally different agendas then.

Of course it can. A few of my friends started out as FWB and now they're either married or basically married. But as Exeter19 said, both parties have to want the same thing or someone is bound to get hurt in the long run.
