From what I remember, you register and they send you to an advisor to set up your classes.

I guess it works in a similar way both US and Canada...You register first and they should be sending you the package for choosing your classes. In some cases you gotta talk to an advisor so you have to see about that part. Also you may be able to choose your courses online if your Uni. has that option.
