Meeting Guys on Vacation

So I’m going on a trip with a friend and her family in a couple weeks and am single. I’m 19 and I’ve been in one relationship, but it’s been a while. I’m looking to have some fun while I’m gone but I’m not exactly a natural when it comes to picking up guys or even spotting them in the first place. So my question is where do I meet guys around my age? There’s a water park and villa close by. I tend to clam up so any tips on how to be approachable or how to approach someone would be appreciated. I’m going to be with my friend most of time and I fear I’m going to embarrass myself in front of her. If by some miracle I find a guy to hang out with, will it be expected that I have sex with him? It’s not that I’m entirely opposed to that, I just don’t usually move that fast. Thanks or the help!

Depending on where you are going, your first, and most important thing is to stay safe. When you get there, you can ask people where the best places to meet people would be. Look around for people in different places that are around your age. When you see someone you're interested in, go up to them and introduce yourself and ask them if they're from here or just visiting. That's a pretty standard way to approach people. The more you go up to people and try to talk to them, the easier it will be to do it. If you won't want to have sex with someone, that's totally OK and you have every right to say No. If you do feel like you want to sleep with someone, and you feel safe enough to do that, then go ahead and get down! But make sure you use protection and are safe about it. Oh, and don't forget to have fun!
