I *THINK* most guys do research on diamond buying... They ARE spending multiple thousands... who'd want to get ripped off?

And even the simplist search on google will get you hundred of "CCC" diamond buying guide. Cut, color, clarity. Unless he's a tool he will know a little something about this.

And CCC's are pretty common when you look up anything to do with diamonds, buying, grading, selling blah blah blah. But yeah whatever. Conflict free is what I'm after.

having said that, I would buy my baby whatever she wanted (within reason, of course) if it's what she genuinely wanted, and really loved it. just this week I tracked down a south-sea pearl with a diamond/rose gold clasp (it's on some sort of silk braid necklace thingy - looks nice) that she'd seen a while ago but I couldn't afford at that very minute. I'm really looking forward to surprising her with it at x-mas.

but I don't care what grade it is or whatever, just that she loves it.
