well i was about to make a post about humans and the social needs they have to be 'popular' and i think this threads touches on it.....the question is how far have people gone or would go to to be 'popular' ?????? jealousy is a byproduct of this i think


i grew out of the whole popular wanting to be 'liked' but competition, jealousy, insults....and probably many more things people get wrapped up in to reach their goal of being popular/looked up to/seen as intelligent/powerful......me i'm a hermit so i'll say how i feel and think how i feel based on deep thoughts not based on any need to look good or feel good because someone will say i'm good......make sense.....what do you think.....how come people have this need to be popular???

lol The stupidest would be... my ex-friend FiFi, she admitted to me that she was jealous of me because I wasn't ashamed of being myself. At first, I didn't understand, for a long while I didn't actually... but I learned later on in life that she wasn't always comfortable. We were opposites. She was really pretty, sort of snobby and kind of wealthy. I was okay looking, sporty and outgoing. Her jealousy ended our friendship

Sometimes maybe but often I think jealousy can stem from the person being jealous and insecure about themselves.

If you are happy and secure within your self then there is not need to be jealous.
