hey guys! long time since i've been on here...funny thing too is that within minutes of me logging back on i was chatting and something came up!
so the deal is ive moved about 2000km away from home for the summer, out to the same province where a brother of mine lives. we now live about a 3 hour drive from each other. i don't know many people out here (not to say i havent made some friends) - but someone i do know who is living in this town is my brothers very serious ex-gf. they still talk, and she's been nice to me, helped me find a place when i moved out.
for the most part i dont initiate contact with her and such, but she will message me and at her suggestion ill hang out on occaision (and i keep my bro aprised, but since they are on "good terms"). then tonight, while chatting online she discreately makes a pass at me...saying that if i wasn't related to my bro she'd be all over me and that its "tempting" regardless...
ive had my guard up before around her, but now its not only in my head!
any suggestions to politely back out of the scenario without tipping my brother off that his ex made a pass...(my bro would never say anything, and he knows that i try to keep my distance and be polite, but i know it would hurt him if he found out she came onto me...even if it was over messenger)

I think you should be VERY direct with her about not being interested - don't worry as much about being polite as you do about being sure she understands you mean it - and I don't think you need to tell your brother. It would only hurt him.

Oh, I'm quite sympathetic, Asip. I just got tired of having to wade through her obnoxious outbursts on every thread before I could get to something interesting. She wasn't listening to anyone, anyway. BTW, ALL your posts convey an element of patience I find admirable.
