So.....my roommates GF just moved in with us for the short run since her lease ran out and her plans fell through.

My bathroom has a hair straightener, foo foo stuff, lots of bright colors.

This is just weird.

Is there only one bathroom? Eek!

On the other hand, there is something to be said of learning what it is like to live with - and share space with - a female, assuming you don't have sisters, etc.

But I could never share a bathroom with a male. (And no, depite being married, I share with my daughter - not my husband.)

At least she is paying rent. I think that Mish will give you kudos for making sure that happened from the get-go.

If the clutter gets too much, suggest she get a plastic basket to put her things into that she can move from her room to the the counter when she needs it. You guys will need to do something similar to be fair.

I share with my husband, but we have a his & hers side and our counter is *always* left clear except for decor items. Things are put away after use.
