Has anyone ever tried the friend zone to get out of the friend zone?

Im not sure how this will work with me being the guy (its easy for a girl to get out of a guys friend zone, much harder the other way around). Im definitely in this girl's friend zone, and im trying to get out.

If constantly saying things like "god im so glad were close friends" and "its so great to have a female friend" while doing some light touching and being a tad unavailable to her as friends, do you think it would work?

It's a tactic, I've had varying success with it. The best thing to do is never get in the friend zone to begin with by making sure you keep a romantic/sexual vibe and hang out with her sparingly. If you see her all the time it's going to be hard, and even harder for her to stop thinking about you like a brother or something else that makes a women go "ew" in their head when they think of someone like that in a sexual way.

Good luck, google for it you might find some tips but generally speaking you're going to have to make distance, make her chase for you a little and when you come back act a little different.

agree. if you are in the zone, it's kind of hard to get out. only way to speed up the process is forgetting her completely. but if you are trying to get with her and your in the friend zone, whats best is to try to limit interaction with her(talking, hanging out). ex: try not be always there for her, in that sense.
