My anatomy professor keeps talking about wanting to see this movie. I ended up buying him a Johnny Cash CD to give him at the end of the semester. (You've gotta love those science dorks!)

Can't wait to see what you think. I won't be missing this film.

Sad, too, you'd think he would know better, considering what happened to his brother.

Yeah, but sometimes you just think "well it won't happen to me" or you just don't care. The interview was still funny. He's in rehab, so hopefully that helps him.

River was so gorgeous, what a shame.

I want to see this when it comes out on DVD. This isn't a theater movie.

Hehe, I forgot to post in this thread. I saw it last night with 4 of my friends. We really enjoyed it. I never really knew much of Johnny Cash nor had I heard much of his music what so ever, but I'd recommend this film. It's well done and I really enjoyed watching it.

    Agreed - AWESOME MOVIE!

Saw it last night, and like Zekk hadnt really known (or heard) much about him before. The theatre was packed - all ages. Great movie!

I never knew a lot about Johnny Cash either.....and the fact that he was a 'country' singer didn't really pique my interest, but I went anyway. This was a frickin great movie!! I was suprised.

I had decided to give it a chance because I'd put off seeing 'Ray' until it came out on DVD (didn't have much interest in a movie about Ray Charles), but that turned out to be an amazing movie as well.

Strange for me to hear how many never heard J. Cash's music. I grew up on it. And Ray Charles'.

I grew up with Johnny Cash, my dad loved that music. I guess I just grew up with a disinterest in it because it was my 'Dad's music' and therefore in my mind, 'not cool'.

I wasn't all that interested in them either for similar reasons. Too country and "parent music" for me. Until I got into my teens and started playing drums and singing. Damned easy shit to play and sing. Think my first real liking in that direction was Roy Orbison.
