    Your christmas presents to yourself

I don't know about you, but each christmas and birthday I splurge on myself and buy something I've wanted. This year was a BIG purchase. I bought myself a new clarinet. I got it for a great price. it sounds better than the 2300 dollar ones I was looking at and it only cost 1000 dollars. I'm also thinking of getting a new mouthpiece for it. Which would cost anywhere from 0 dollars (if I DON'T get one), to 200 dollars (for one of the ones I'm looking at). But the good thing is this clarinet will last very long. Clarinets easily last 50 years or more if taken care of. So I'm set for life (unless I go pro in which case I'll get a better one, but chances of that are slim).

What'd you get yourself, if anything? (The New Years Resolutions list I'll wait a few days before starting)

I'm a movie buff so DVD's galore have been my poison. I don't believe in New Years resolutions but it'll be fun to see what others write when you put it up.

Merry Christmas to myself and all of you fine folks!
This year... I am happy to say Spluged on something I wasn't planning for... my cat.

My Christmas present costed $2500 and was my cats life. ( he got very sick on Christmas eve.. so)
I couldn't put him to sleep so.. my life savings at this point went to him.

Wow. You're lucky it wasn't my cat. First off, I wouldn't have one, and secondly if it was between a cat's life and 25 dollars, I'd have to say goodbye furrball.

PS - No it wasn't an accident typing 25 dollars.

I ordered myself two pairs of shoes from Zappos, however I have to return them because obviously a lot of shoe designers have never seen feet!

A dog on the other hand is worth it's weight in gold. But a cat? Honestly.
