    Platonic Relationships?

So can guys and girls have best friends (who are of the opposit sex and are very attractive) but still keep it platonic?
I want a girl who likes to talk. ......I just dont know what to say sometimes and would rather just listen.

Yes, if one of you are gay. If not, then yes, but only if you are in love with someone else. I think if you are both single, normal people, sexual curiosity will eventually get you.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

i saw if you are both in relationship then yes you can have a plaque relationship with any and just be friends. But if you are single all bets are off. If you are gay and the other one is straigh its also possible for i to just be friends

My best friend is a girl.

We've been best friends for TEN years. She's a very attractive girl, but the thought of anything sexual makes me sick to my stomach.

I think it's rare, but it can happen.

Me: Guys and girls can almost never be platonic, whether I guy will admit it or not, if given the chance he'd probably sleep with all his female friends.

Ames: Yeah, but Choi we have a completely platonic relationship!

    Me: ::silence::

Or so she thought, 2 months later I had her in my bed.

Congrats to her! Will you be the Man of Honor?

And IMO, platonic relationships are about as rare as naturally-occuring pearls. I'm your friend, Henry. But I know you want me.

    LOL.

No, I'll be a groomsman. I've become very good friends with her fiancee, as well.

    The short answer, yes.
The correct answer, no. Logically and intellectually it is possible, professionally it is possible, and circumstantially it is possible. Actually and intimately it is impossible.

Many men are insensitive and desire-addicted and many women are dependent and attention-addicted; so they cannot feel the very subtle but very real feeling of wrongness, compromise and mucking-each-other-aboutness of just good friendship; especially of the ex-partner / ****buddy variety.

It's hard, but, unless circumstance (family) or work bring you together, strings must be cut, or pain will result. Before you react to this, check why you're really staying with your just good friend and not a) throwing all your chips in with him/her or b) cutting loose and letting new love come.

I would have said no a couple of months ago, when my best friend was a girl.
We'd hang out all the time, and do things that friends do.

One night we had some wine, and we ended up screwing until dawn. Then it kept going for a couple of days until we decided to stop.

We're still friends, but not as close as we used to be. Sex ruined it.

Did anyone get their heart broken? This story is very interesting to me...
