I'm absolutely, unconditionally, 24-7 thoughts, butterflies in the stomach, head over heels in love with my friend James. He's not a REALLY close friend, but the second I met him my legs turned to jelly... that was about 8 or 9 months ago, and I've felt like this ever since. We have so much in common its scary - he's perfect.

He'd always been nice enough to me, but over the past few months, he's been flirty. We went to a club a few weeks back and I caught him looking at me a couple of times, and he kept shuffling closer to me.

He's quite shy, but I saw him say on his friend's facebook that he likes someone.

He's got a lot of female friends that he's lovely to, so its difficult to say if he's any nicer to me..

..but there is one other girl he's flirty with.. im not sure if he likes her or not, as at the club he spent most of the time with me, not with her and her friends, but he talks to her a lot more than me..

I'm too shy to ask him out.. WAY too shy!

i know this isnt much info, but based on this, what do you think? Does he like me as a friend or more than friends?

Maybe he's just seeing if you'll make a move just so if he makes a move and you don't like him that way, (which isnt the case) he wont embarrass himself. I say put yourself out there before another woman does.

I get that you're shy-- and I mean this in the nicest way possible but.. GET OVER IT.

Seriously, it's only going to hold you back.. like it is right now.

As for the info you've given-- maybe he does like you, or maybe you're only seeing what you want to see.
