In a dilemma right now. Been thinking to confess to the one i like however i have this kind of mentality every time i wishes to do so..... [I]If i confess... i might lose her as a friend...its like a gamble.... 50 : 50 or the odds are even lower and how would i react in the event she rejected me[I]. Staying by her side is the next best option available for me.....
If you guys out there are in my shoe... what would you do? Please advise

It's called dating for a reason: one may be rejected, even after being together for a while.
It's not like you're gona ask her to marry you, spend the next 40, 50, 60 years of her life with you and pop out kids.
Grow some backbone there and spit it out. It's 50/50 for everybody.
Meanwhile the only thing you're doing is emotionally torturing yourself.

I try not to tell my feelings until there is a sign of reciprocation, this is for the sake of the girl, it can be really awkward. If she's available you may find it more effective to create an intimate environment (like watch a movie alone with her) and then lean in for a kiss. If that's not possible for whatever reason you may need to just bite the bullet and be out with it and look for her response. Alternatively you may hint in that direction and see how she responds to your advances. Yes, she may say no, think hard of what you will do if she does.
