Questionable situation...

hey all, first post here...

I'm in a pretty interesting situation. I'll be going to college next year and, to prepare incoming students for the life of a full time student, we had an orientation for two nights. I met a girl there with whom i really connected, nearly immediately and on a level I have yet to experience (I've just got out of a 2.5 year relationship). We have gone our separate ways since that weekend about a week ago, but continue to text and talk online when convenient. I really want to continue a friendship, or possibly some form of relationship with this girl. My problem here concerns the amount of time and distance. do i wait until school starts to start working on a relationship, or do i start now, risking the label of some clingy, googly-eyed guy she met on a weekend. I know that shes into me in some form and i really dont want to rush into anything. any advise helps so pour it on thick
