    Self conscious about my hair

Ok ladies...I am a 28 year old guy and I'm already losing my hair. I have been for the past few years. It makes me extremely self conscious when I'm trying to talk to girls. It's not the receding hairline up front that bothers me...it's the little bald spot in the back!

I've started to wear baseball caps more often now and that really helps alot. It's strange that I'm very confident with a cap on, and I'm a totally different story without one.

I'm no supermodel, but I'm not scrub either. I workout pretty often and have been told that I'm cute.

So is that a turnoff to girls if a guy is balding when he's still fairly young?

I don't know what to do...I don't really want to shave my head and I can't afford plugs/hair transplant now so I'm stuck

Would love your thoughts on the matter...

The ballcap will only increase the rate at which your hair goes.

    thsi is NOT true...

I know you are looking for female opinions, but I am in the SAME situation.

Take a look at these two products to help cover up. AMAZING results.

They work MIRACLES for me and my balding situation. I understand completely what you mean with the confidence thing, its like I'm a different person when I know someone cant see my baldingness. Do a google search for those and get yourself some. Practice a few times putting it in and making it look perfect. You will thank me later. I PROMISE!!

You worry too much, I mean I could see if your penis was falling off or something that would suck but hair?

It's all in your head, not ON it. lol

It really makes no difference! Though I would be more put off by a baseball cap than a balding head!

My advice would be do all you can to not worry and just be yourself....it really won't change the right persons opinion of you!

Or he could like get a Napoleon style hat to compensate extra?

Perhaps a big SUV or other assorted macho vehicle?

Yeah...I know I should relax about it, and if I didn't care about, others probably won't either. CJT1971...that is a great point about it not changing the "right person's" opinion of me.

Well...I do drive a beamer lol, but not to compensate for anything! I just love the car

dude its all in your head man.. in fact i sometimes wonder if bald or balding men get more women. iunno i got a couple friends in their early 20s with receding hair lines and they get women very easily. Its all confidence.

I personally LIKE a shaved head.... sexy! you can grow some facial hair to compensate, if it makes you feel better.

Balding is a turn off for me, period. Opt for a toupee. You could probably get one relatively inexpensive since you claim it's a small area.

Do not listen to this chick. lmao

Yeah adjust and tailor your life to this random internet chick because she has an opinion on something totally subjective. lmao

When will the petty shallowness end? lmao

Haha...for sure. This internet chick (or dude, who knows right?) may seem a bit shallow. But I love the idea of an afro down town! I'm gonna start growing it now! haha

You asked if it was a turnoff. Apparently you wanted a female to say it was, just so you could make an attempt at a put down. Everyone who desires a partner wants one who they are physically attracted to unless they're blind.

You wear baseball caps, and feel self conscious to the point where hair transplantation has been considered. Ergo - you are shallow yourself because some of your pride is wrapped up in your appearance.

I workout pretty often and have been told that I'm cute.
But being told you're "cute" is okay and not shallow, right? So long as it's complimentary.

As for the bald solution... you believe in the law of attraction. Maybe if you concentrate real hard and think happy follicle thoughts, a few buds will spring up.
